One of the most intriguing parts of my career in medicine was the intersection of art and medical practice. Art surrounds the field of medicine and I found myself immersed in form and function - art as medicine.

Throughout my years of training I continually painted and drew what inspired me – rediscovering myself through different techniques and mediums. I continually found inspiration in organic shapes, nature, and the flow and form of people and objects.

I merged both of my worlds: biology and art. I strive to challenge myself to see beyond the surface and communicate the complexity of organic life through my work.
